Art Connection will work closely with customers to choose the exact frame and matting for their artwork with a clear understanding that 'fine framing should complement but never overpower a picture'. Over the years Rod's framing services have been delivered to artists, galleries, museums and companies across the country.

Frames for the contemporary works, the Fine Art treasures, historical collectables and the family heirlooms revitalized with trusted hands and keen sense of design is our goal.

Installation

Art Connection is designed to be very hands on. Art Installation Is a key Ingredient and within that is the respect and care we take within your home and with the handling of your new purchase.

Hanging art can be an art form In itself. The 'spot' for that piece can sometime make or break the power of its presence and either strengthen or weaken it's Impact. Light, angles and atmosphere all contribute to success. Our job Is to help you pinpoint that 'special place' and to install it professionally without damage to walls, frames and so forth. In the end, your piece will hang as if 'it was always meant to be there'.

Art Connection is also prepared to help you with an overall visual art design within one room or your entire home.  Rod Schuhart's strong background as an art curator lends itself to this process and can transform a space that is both powerful and inviting.

Home Consultations

Further to ‘installation’ it is sometimes the ‘what’ rather than the ‘where’ and this is where Home Consultation comes in.

Art Connection can assist you in finding that perfect piece. Rod Schuhart’s extensive knowledge and trained eye will be invaluable in locating the most effective work of art in relationship to your space. With our available works from our artists we will assist and discuss possibilities. A work of art that you may not have considered previously may become the one that now you couldn’t imagine without.

We can then place the piece(s) in your home or office for a ‘trial run’. Our job is to create a setting that gives you time to settle with any given work of art within your own environment.

We know that “good art doesn’t match your sofa” but it can certainly complement it!

Office Consultations

Art Connection can arrange to meet in your place of work to discuss your artistic needs.  A ‘walk-about’ will enable us to recommend appropriate locations for art that will complement and enhance your corporate environment.  New paintings can be merged seamlessly with existing collections. Simultaneously, an inspection can take place of your original pieces with an eye to replacing outdated or damaged frames.  Art rotation can also be scheduled so all your employees can gain an appreciation for the various art pieces! 

Whether you are simply moving offices within your building or relocating across the City and need to dismantle your collection, we can help pack, store it and re-install it in the new location when the time is right. Let us consult with you on where and how to hang your collection.

Our availability is there for you.   Evening appointments are also available.

Restorations / Repairs

Art restoration is again, an art form in itself and should only be handled by a professional. Many treasured pieces have been damaged beyond repair when handled by inexperience.

This is not only a great loss for you personally but also overall as 'significant art has it's significant place within our art society'.

Deliveries / Transportation / Shipping

When shipping or moving, An expertly packed painting is a definite must! If you require pickup for storage or simply need a painting mailed we can expertly and artfully pack your piece AND we pack and ship around the country!
