My paintings are narratives -- contemporary stories based on personal experience, memory and observation.  The goal is to create a narrative that does not just record contemporary life but looks beyond the myth to the mystery within.  My stories can be interpreted in various ways but they are, above all, a whimsical search for the meaning of life.
