Doug FarriesThe work of Doug Farries is an observation of the
ongoing issues related to development. There is a need for industry to keep up
with the demands of society but this growth creates a continuous push and pull
on the environment. We are always
trying to balance the needs to keep the environment safe while at the same time
satisfying industrial development. In Doug’s paintings he captures these two
images and lets the viewer contemplate these challenges.
